Frequently Asked Questions
Are US cloud providers GDPR-compliant?
AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure offer EU regions with data residency guarantees. However, US providers are subject to the CLOUD Act. For maximum GDPR safety, we recommend Hetzner.
Which cloud provider is cheapest?
For European deployments: Hetzner > DigitalOcean > Vultr > AWS/GCP/Azure. Hetzner offers by far the best prices with comparable performance.
Can I use multiple cloud providers?
Yes. Multi-cloud setups are possible, e.g., OpenClaw on Hetzner with backup on AWS S3. We advise on the optimal architecture.
Do you support Kubernetes?
Yes. OpenClaw can run in Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE, AKS, or self-managed). This is an enterprise option with additional setup effort.
